From 2021 to 2023, I participated in Crush / Repeat, an annual Seattle-based art show for queer community and friends where participants pick a small art project to repeat in some manner every day for the month of March.
Every day in March, for three years, I would write a 31-word poem about anything from a years-old foggy memory to my commute to work, or the plane I was sitting in. I was left with 93 poems about my lived experiences.
I'm currently in the process of workshopping select poems as songs, and aim to assemble them for recording and performance.
